Post-Separation Family Therapy
Separation reshapes a family. We support parents and children through what comes next — whether conflict is running high or you simply want help to co-parent well.
High-conflict families
For families who are not able to manage conflict after separation and often cannot resolve issues directly — including families who are currently going through, or have been through, the Family Court.
- Direct therapeutic work with the family
- Indirect communication, where one of our parent coaches or family therapists acts as a conduit — by email or through therapeutic intervention
- Support for families where one parent is not seeing one of their children
Low-conflict families
For families who have been through separation and can talk about the separation itself, co-parenting and other family matters while in the room together — parents who can still communicate directly with one another.
Estrangement vs alienation
Parental alienation is when one parent manipulates a child to reject the other parent, often during divorce. Parental estrangement is when a child independently chooses to limit contact for their own reasons.
Divorce coaching
Divorce coaching is personalised support and guidance for people going through separation, helping you navigate the practical, emotional and logistical challenges without the court process.

Through one-on-one sessions, your coach offers a safe space to talk through concerns, fears and goals, while helping you build effective communication and negotiation skills for dealings with your ex-partner.
